Our Story/La Storia

From the XIV° till now it’s hard so sum up, let’s say that this old house was linked to Rossena Castle and the Canossa history. You can find the Canossa’s crest in the hall where we serve breakfast and old frescos in some walls of the house. It has been owed by noble people as well than local farmers, than our family bought the place in the 1981 and renovate it to bring it back to the old beauty and to host people from all over the world.

L’origine della casa è attribuibile al XIV° secolo. Rimangono testimonianze di questa antica origine lo stemma dei Canossa di Correggio situato nella sala delle feste, alcuni piccoli affreschi attorno al camino della stessa stanza e varie decorazioni settecentesche nella camera degli sposi. La casa, che ha sempre seguito le sorti del Castello di Rossena, dal 1982 è stata acquistata dalla nostra famiglia (Braidi-Alberici) che ha realizzato un graduale restauro. Questo ha permesso di riportarla al suo antico splendore architettonico e di armonizzala all’ attività’ di accoglienza turistica in Bed&Breakfast.
